EBS ValveDrive DI – Tube Preamp & Overdrive for Bass

EBS ValveDrive DI is a tube-powered preamp and overdrive that can make your bass glow or roar – whether you want warm, singing tone or powerful distortion. With everything from classic tube warmth to raw distortion, ValveDrive DI offers easy control and versatility.

Use as a Preamp

• At low Gain and high Volume, ValveDrive DI transforms a solid-state amplifier into a warm tube amplifier.
• Provides a rich, warm and powerful tone with natural tube compression.

Use as Overdrive/Distortion

• Raise the Gain to create an overdrive or distortion.
• Switch between Vintage and Normal character.
• "Flat" setting is achieved by turning Bass and Treble all the way down and Mid to maximum.

New outputs for expanded use

• Balanced XLR output for direct connection to a mixer in the studio or live.
• Low impedance output allows the pedal to be used as a standalone preamp with an external power amp.

New power supply

• Previously: 12V AC (converted to high voltage internally).
• Now: 9V DC, making the pedal compatible with standard power adapters.

Highest quality tubes

• ECC83 (12AX7) tubes for authentic tube warmth and distortion.
• Ability to change tubes to adjust gain and tonal character.
